iNADO is the international member body for National Anti-Doping Organisations (NADOs) and their staff. iNADO promotes best anti-doping practices by NADOs, and is their international voice.
NADOs are at the heart of the anti-doping movement. They do the large majority of anti-doping work world-wide. They protect the right of athletes to clean sport in their own countries and territories, and abroad. They prevent doping, they deter doping and they detect doping. They educate and inform athletes, their coaches and sport doctors, and other support personnel. They collect doping control samples and they conduct results management if a sample returns an atypical or adverse analytical finding. They conduct anti-doping investigations and they prosecute individuals based on anti-doping intelligence.
NADOs advise governments and they administer national rules against doping in sport. They provide anti-doping services to international sport organisations and to major games. NADOs collaborate with athletes and athlete support personnel, with each other, with public authorities, with Regional Anti-Doping Organisations, and with national and international sport organisations. The purpose of NADOs is doping-free sport.
